Background
Revelstoke Search and Rescue, REVSAR, is a non-profit, volunteer run, search and rescue organization based in Revelstoke, B.C. In this project, Revelstoke were faced with the amount of individuals who lacked knowledge or education of not only the risks and dangers involved with outdoor activities, but the lack of preparedness when dealing with situations.

Design Question
How might we encourage people who partake in outdoor activities to be more informed and prepared about the risks and dangers associated with the outdoors?
Solution
Through qualitative research, the solution was to create educational material that would help promote awareness, understanding and preparedness in individuals who partake in these outdoor activities through better presentation and layout of important textual information that REVSAR lacked.
